VELUX product updates and launches 2023!

It’s that time again, where we tell you everything VELUX is updating/adding to their product portfolio. Although we are always keen to see the updates every year. We think this is the best one yet!
There are a few updates and exciting products coming to VELUX in 2023. Starting March 2023, continuing through 2023. Here is a timeline of the launches we have coming for you in 2023. Not ready to read? Don’t worry, we will update you all before each product is released.
VELUX flashings simplified.
From March 1st, 2023.
VELUX have announced an exciting update coming to their flashings on the 1st of March 2023. Currently VELUX flashings and installation accessories come separately and unfortunately leaves lot’s customers installing windows without the BFX/BDX. Without these accessories the window is not at its full potential. So, VELUX will be introducing the PRO+ flashing kits. These flashings will be the new standard within the VELUX roof window range. The new PRO+ flashings will include: The flashing (ED), The underfelt collar (BFX), The insulation collar (BDX). This allows VELUX best practice to become the new standard. This update will help increase thermal performance, watertightness, and installation quality. Allowing VELUX roof windows to reach their full potential in every household across the country.

VELUX 2-in-1.
From March 1st, 2023.
Now, this one is exciting. Are you an installer or a homeowner, looking to buy roof windows but want to double the daylight? Well, say hi to the 2-in-1. The VELUX 2-in-1 is the perfect choice for you. The 2-in-1 roof window comes with one open window and one fixed roof window. The VELUX 2-in-1 is the new standard for adding maximum daylight and fresh air to your home. The VELUX 2-in-1 comes in a variation of models and sizes. The VELUX 2-in-1 is best suited for small to medium rooms, however. The 2-in-1 can be combined for larger rooms. The VELUX 2-in-1 has a slim profile, adding extra daylight to your home. The 2-in-1 has a modern design completed with a white painted internal finish and an anthracite grey aluminium external finish. The VELUX 2-in-1 roof window comes in either manual or solar operation and fully equipped with VELUX 70, laminated inner pane. Standard double glazing or VELUX laminated inner pane sixty-six, triple glazing.

VELUX new generation conservation roof window.
From March 1st, 2023.
VELUX are launching a new conservation/heritage roof window. The new generation of conservation roof window is a modernized, slimmer design to its predecessor. The window has a flatter, glass-to-glass design to fit into the new modern market, while still serving its purpose of suiting heritage building regulations in certain areas.

VELUX Flat roof windows (bigger and better)
From September 2023.
In 2022 VELUX introduced new (bigger) flat roof window sizes onto the market. These new sizes were a huge success and allowed our customers to have a wider VELUX flat roof window range to choose from. This year, they’re doing it again. VELUX will introduce three new flat roof window sizes:
- 150cm x 80cm
- 150cm x 120cm
- 200cm x 60cm
This takes the VELUX flat roof window range from 10 sizes to 13 sizes. Which allows you to choose from more standard sizes. Cutting bespoke industry costs. In addition to this VELUX will introduce these with three different operations fixed, electric, or solar and available in curved or flat glass.
